Congdon Law believes clients should have a clear understanding of legal fees before beginning representation. We strive to provide transparent billing practices so clients understand the cost of legal services and what to expect throughout their case.

Initial Consultation

Initial consultations of up to one hour are $200. During the consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your situation, review the legal issues involved, and determine how our firm may assist you moving forward.

Retainer Information

Most divorce and custody matters require an initial retainer between $5,000 and $10,000, depending on the complexity of the case. Retainers are deposited into a client trust account and billed against as legal work is performed.

For other types of legal matters, retainers are determined on a case-by-case basis.
